Bell, undefeated all day, cleared from the green with Evans needing snookers. “He’s a good little player for his age,” admitted Bell. In the semi-finals, Gavin disposed of Swindon’s Jodie Symes who is ranked 22nd on the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association circuit. Cuestars director John Hunter was delighted with the way the first event went. “It couldn’t have gone better," he said. “It has been a long time since I got from a competition start to its end without any hassle!
