About Cuestars
Introduction
My name is John Hunter and I run Cuestars, which provides Weekend Junior Sections and for all ages, grass-root snooker tournaments across the South of England. Cuestars has more than 500 players registered and 20+ clubs affiliated.
Weekend Junior Sections
Cuestars Weekend Junior Sections enable youngsters to play on full-sized snooker tables. Players are taught the basics, shown how to conduct themselves in a snooker club environment and are introduced to competition play.
A Coaching Programme is available, which offers all Cuestars players a structured approach to learning the game. There are ten levels to achieve, with the first level aimed at the beginner and the final level aimed at the proficient player.

Competitions
Competitions take place on Sundays between October and May, and cater for players aged eight to 80 - and in some cases even older!
All competition draws take place at 10.30am prompt. Entry fees are taken on the day. All tables used for competition matches are free of charge.
The dress code for under-21 competitions is smart trousers, shoes and a collared or polo shirt. There is no dress code for Championship & Senior (40+) Tour events.

Cuestars ‘South of England’ Championship Tour (no age limit)
Six ranking competitions with cash prizes subject to entries. Entry fee: £15 per event.
The top-16 ranked players will be invited to the end-of-season Championship to play for the title of Cuestars 'South of England' Champion.
Cuestars ‘South of England’ Senior Tour (for players aged 40 and over)
Four ranking competitions with cash prizes subject to entries received. Entry fee: £15 per event.
The top-16 ranked players will be invited to the end-of-season Championship to play for the title of Cuestars 'South of England' Senior Champion.
Cuestars ‘South of England’ U21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Opens
Eight competitions on each tour for trophies. Entry fee: £8 per event.
The top-16 ranked players from each U21 Tour will be invited to the end-of-season Championships to find the Cuestars 'South of England' U21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Champions.
The U21 Gold, Silver & Bronze Champions will receive John Parris vouchers and all champions will play the professional player on the Cuestars Presentation Day.
Membership
Cuestars membership is £10.00. Registered players renewing their membership at the start of the season, and Weekend Junior Section players, can join for only £5.00. Click here for a membership form.
